Yeah...I'm terrible at this....

Sorry I'm such a bad blogger. Life is crazy in the Finck household.

Tomorrow is my last day of this semester!! YAY! I've done really well but it sure is taking a toll on me!! But it's all worth it...that's all I have to remember!!

Zach is doing well, still at Comair in avionics. Other than that he's still the same, lol. Just trying to keep up with the rest of us!

Peighton, **knock**on**wood** has been in big boy underwear for 4 days, and insisted on sleeping in his underwear last night, with NO accidents! Altho he did ask for a diaper tonight! Baby steps, baby steps!! I'm so proud of my big boy!!

Miss Morgan is turning into such a sass! She fights with her brother and stands her ground!! Boy does that girl have a temper on her, but she's still so sweet!

That's about it in the Finck home! We're crazy busy especially with the holidays!!

It's been awhile

Sorry for my lack of updates, it's been super duper busy around the Finck household as of late.

The kids are doing wonderful, and growing everyday! Morgan goes to the Dr. on the 23rd so I'll have an update on her stats then. Peighton stepped on the scale yesterday and weighs around 39lbs according to it, not sure on the height though. Morgan is finally starting to attempt talking, although you can't understand a word the poor thing says, but it's definitely evident that she's trying! She did have me worried as Peighton had quite an array of words by this time. I know, I know, each child is different! That couldn't be more the case if we tried!

I'm attending college (UC-Clermont), after a 5.5 yr break, I'm going back for accounting. I definitely forgot how hard a full course load is, not to mention, the whole job (not sure that I mentioned it before but I work at BRU), and 2 kids ordeal. It's soo tough, but I know I'll get through it and it'll be SO worth it in the end.

Yesterday I got a cyst removed from my face, it was about the size of a big green grape, and perfectly round, it all came out in one piece, which is fabulous. It's pretty sore and swollen today, I got some stitches, as they removed the skin that was covering the cyst as well. There sending it off for testing just to be sure that everything is okay.

I think that's about it for now. I'll try to post some photos soon, although that would actually mean that I would have to take them and then post them! LOL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!

It's almost here

So I've been avidly planning Miss Morgan's FIRST BIRTHDAY!! I can't believe that it's next month!! She's growing so big everyday. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that she's bigger than Peighton was at this age (at least in length), I didn't keep up with his measurements, and I won't go back to the Pediatrician for either of them until next month. She's still only got 2 teeth but I'm pretty sure that she is cutting some more. She's not walking yet, she doesn't act very sure of herself, and when she does cruise the furniture she does it on her tippy toes, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or not. She's got one heck of a temper, just like her brother, if something isn't going her way, she will definitely let you know about it! She got to go swimming for the first time last week with this crazy hot weather and LOVED it! I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Peighton is also incredibly smart these days. He's still not "lovin'" his sister, haha. He got to go to the movies to watch Kung Fu Panda with Aunt Dee Dee for the first time yesterday, and he behaved ideally. I'm also getting his party stuff ready and he got to choose this year, and what do ya know, he chose Spiderman, even though we just did it last year!

Zach and I finally get to get away for a night for his birthday next week. We got a hotel room around here, just to try and enjoy ourselves.

I went to the Doctor to have a couple moles and a cyst on my face looked at last week. The Dermatologist is pretty positive that one is a melanoma so their going to remove that for me, as well as one on my back, that it just bothersome. The cyst on my face is to large for him to do anything with, so I have to see a plastic surgeon to get it removed, with any luck the insurance will cover it, otherwise I'm stuck with it, and it just continues to grow and protrude.

Well that's about it! Not much going on in our lives. Just wanted to give an update.

10 Months!! Where did the time go???

Sorry I haven't been on to update in awhile. The growing kiddos and jobs are surely keeping us busy!

Nothing new has really happened, I'm still working in Anderson, Zach's still at good 'ole Comair, and well the kids are still kicking....literally!

Morgan turned 10 months old today :( I can't believe my baby is almost ONE! Man o man, time sure does fly when you have children...... I just got her decor for her 1st Birthday! Which broke my heart :(

Peighton is being Peighton, his jealousy is getting absolutely outta control! Anything and everything that you do to/for Morgan, with the exception of diaper changes, he wants too. It's making us crazy, instead of him getting used to her presence he hates her more and more everyday! Does is ever get better??!!

I'll try to update more often with new photos to come. I got all the Modeling shots on disc, but have yet to load them into the PC, for those who didn't get to see them.

3rd Annual NFL Draft Party

Lovin' this weather!

Haven't been on in awhile to update. So here it is!

Peighton is doing great, repeating anything and everything, and perhaps some things he shouldn't be, lol. He is 36" and 37lbs, and is disliking his sister more and more everyday. The jealousy is sure coming out in him. He bites her, picks her up and throws her, walks up to her and screams in her face until she cries. Takes all of the toys from her (his & hers). Smacks her in the head, uses her poor little limbs like a speed bump with his big wheel, and just walks up and shoves her for no reason.

Morgan has two teeth now, is baby talking more and more, only with Dada being the most prominent. She LOVES "real" people food, but we have to watch that still. She also loves sippy's which is amazing since it took trying every type under the sun to find one that Peighton would deal with. She's definitely getting longer, not sure about the weight though. She is still on her acid reflux meds and on her Alimentum, can't wait for that to end!

I do think that both kids have some seasonal allergies. Morgan more so than Peighton as they both have some wicked runny noses, and watery eyes. Zach has them pretty badly during this time of year and he's been hit with them here recently as well....which is what gave me the idea.

I got a new Nanny job and started last week. I watch two 2.5 yr/old twins in Anderson, OH. It's a great job, but definitely a little more high maintenance than my other job. But the girls are absolutely wonderful! And the drive is fabulous!

I'm including some recent photos' as I'm slacking on adding them. I do have some from the park of both kids last week that I need to get uploaded! These are for the most part from Easter (geesh I really am slacking!).

UPDATE

Just wanted to update y'all and let you know that Morgan did in fact get chosen for the photo shoot. She did 4 outfits in about an hour and when she got to the 5th she had a minor meltdown, so we had to stop. She did so great, smiled and giggled the whole time. Only problem was she was on the move getting her to sit up was a chore, because she wanted to crawl and get the photographer and her camera. The photographer was fantastic! She absolutely fell in love with Morgan, I mean how could you not! BEST NEWS! She got asked to come back for the outside shoot, not sure when that is, but hopefully they remember to call us! I'll post the link to the website when I get it. Thanks for all your prayers!

Photo Shoot

Just wanted to let everyone know that beautiful Miss Morgan was picked to take photos in a photo shoot for a new upcoming children's boutique. Her photo shoot is tomorrow at 12:45 and we get one photo of the shoot and the opportunity to purchase more. I'm super excited as I wanted to get her entered into modeling, but didn't have the time.

Please keep her in your prayers as she got a cold and I'm hoping that it clears up by tomorrow. But cold or not she's super happy, which is great! I'll post the link when I get it so that you all can see our beautiful princess.

The pains of beauty......

So Zach and I have been making a very conscience effort to be healthier and work out more. We've done great. Zach has lost 30 lbs since January and I've lost 15 lbs. We both feel much better about ourselves than before, that's for sure.

Wednesday, I got offered a free personal training session at Fitworks, you know so that perhaps I will PAY them to help me. I figured I might as well take advantage of it, even though I had no intentions of signing up. Well, Rob, my trainer seemed to be a nice guy, and worked on my legs so that I knew what to do, as Zach refuses to work out on his legs. I informed Rob that I hadn't worked on legs since well before I got pregnant with my daughter, so probably close to two years!

So I did everything he asked, even when it hurt bad....as I didn't want to seem like such a wimp. After all he is a personal trainer and he "should" know what he's doing. So I get done with my workout and I'm feeling pretty tuckered out. Go home get some sleep, go to get up the next morning, and about fall on my darn face. My legs were sooo sore. Upon further walking, I couldn't walk on my right foot, going down the stairs was a treat. It felt like a 24hr charlie horse and you all know how painful that is. So yesterday (Thursday) I massage it try to not put much weight on it etc.

Fast forward to today.....I can not put any pressure on my heel or you may very well see me break down into tears, my legs is swollen about double the size of the left leg. And to top it off now my toes are sore from walking on them for 48 hrs!

I've been contemplating calling and letting him know what he did, but I did sign a waiver stating that if a situation did happen, there was nothing I could do. But I guess I just want him to feel bad, and not do this to someone else! It hurts darn it!

Okay I'm done with the whining....for now.

O I guess I should add that Lil Miss has started sitting up on her own as of last Saturday, you know after I wrote the blog about her not sitting up, he he. Always proving Mama wrong!

Trying to keep up.....

I figured I'd start a blog, so that I can try to keep everyone up on the kids. I'll try to post weekly, perhaps more often. I'll also upload photos, to those of you that don't have myspace that way you can see the kids! Morgan has just started to pull herself up on couches, chairs etc. She is crawling like a maniac, but refuses to sit up. I guess she's going to go from crawling to walking....she could care less about the sitting up ordeal, hehe. She's growing big and way to fast for her Mama!

Peighton is being Peighton, repeating every single word that anyone says, talking back, and being sure to voice his opinion about everything! His vocabulary blows me out of the water some times! Upon leaving the gym last week, Zach and I were picking him up from the childcare area, we told him it was time to go, "Bye, bye," he looks at us and clear as day said, "I'm not ready to go yet!" Talk about shocked! My little boy is definitely no "little" boy anymore :(
